Goldfields Service Guide
To keep your camper in safe working condition and performing at its best, Goldfields Campers recommends the following service intervals.
Servicing can be carried out by Goldfields Campers or by a suitably qualified mechanic. The 1,000km post-delivery check may also be completed by a mechanically confident owner using the Goldfields checklist.
✅ 1,000km Post-Delivery Check — $275
Your camper’s first run-in check is designed to identify any settling, movement or early wear after initial use.
This check includes:
Visual inspection of nuts, bolts and fasteners
Undercarriage inspection for signs of stress, movement or damage
Wheel nut torque check
Tyre condition and pressure check
Basic brake operation check
Inspection of wiring and visible connections
Visual inspection of gas fittings and lines
General check for leaks, rubbing cables, loose panels or movement
General safety and condition inspection
The 1,000km check may be completed by the owner if they are mechanically confident and competent to do so. We recommend recording the check for your own service history.
🔧 10,000km Full Maintenance Service — $649
Recommended every 10,000km to help maintain safety, performance and service history.
This service includes:
Repack and grease wheel bearings
Grease suspension arms and pivot points
Adjust brakes, including electric brakes, handbrake and drum/shoe clearance
Check tyre wear, tyre pressure and wheel nut torque
Inspect wheel alignment indicators, camber/caster bolts and suspension settings
Check and grease coupling, hitch and jockey wheel
Inspect shock absorbers for leaks or damage
Check undercarriage for damage, loose mounts or movement
Inspect safety chains and breakaway cable
General safety and condition inspection
Important Note
If you are travelling off-road, on corrugated roads, through water crossings or on challenging 4WD tracks, it is your responsibility to ensure your camper is in safe working condition before departure.
Additional repairs, replacement parts, electrical work, gas work, wheel alignment or other work outside the listed service items may incur additional charges.
