We could have lowered the cost by using a painted chassis, but some shortcuts simply aren’t worth taking.

That is why every Base Escape is built on a hot-dip galvanised chassis and drawbar, providing long-term protection against corrosion, stone chips and Australia’s demanding travelling conditions.

Underneath, independent trailing-arm suspension, heavy-duty coil springs and shock absorbers provide a strong and capable foundation for your adventures.

Stainless-Steel Outdoor Kitchen

Open the rear kitchen and everything you need is ready to use.

The durable stainless-steel kitchen features a sink, electric water pump and Dometic two-burner gas stove, giving you a practical cooking and preparation area wherever you stop.

Quick-connect water outlets and installed gas plumbing help make setting up camp simple, so you can spend less time unpacking and more time enjoying the destination.

Flexible Renogy Charging

The Base Escape includes a 100Ah deep-cycle battery and Renogy 50A DC-to-DC charger.

The Renogy system can charge the camper battery from your tow vehicle while driving. Its dedicated solar input also allows you to connect a compatible unregulated solar panel, with the Renogy charger regulating the solar power before it reaches the battery.

This gives you two practical charging options:

  • Charge from your tow vehicle while travelling

  • Connect compatible unregulated solar when camping

It’s a straightforward and flexible electrical system, with the option to expand your setup as your travelling needs grow.
