A run-in check to identify settling, movement and early wear after initial use.
Nuts, bolts, fasteners and undercarriage inspection.
Wheel nut torque, tyre condition and pressures.
Basic brake operation and visible wiring connections.
Visual gas-line checks and inspection for leaks, rubbing cables, loose panels or movement.
Goldfields’ service guide allows a mechanically confident and competent owner to complete the initial check using the Goldfields checklist. Ask for the current checklist and retain a service record. Specialist gas and electrical work requires appropriately licensed trades.
10,000km maintenance service
$649
Recommended every 10,000km to help maintain safety, performance and service history. Goldfields or a suitably qualified mechanic can carry out servicing.
Repack wheel bearings and grease suspension arms and pivot points.
Adjust electric brakes, handbrake and drum/shoe clearance.
Inspect tyres, pressures, wheel nut torque, alignment indicators, camber/caster bolts and suspension settings.
Check and grease the coupling, hitch and jockey wheel.
Inspect shock absorbers, undercarriage, safety chains and breakaway cable.
Before off-road travel, corrugated roads, water crossings or challenging tracks, make sure your setup is in safe working condition. Discuss your usage and any additional checks with a qualified service provider. Do not tow a unit with a suspected safety defect.
