Privacy notice

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Goldfields Campers & Caravans respects your privacy. This notice explains how we handle personal information when you contact us, use our website, purchase a camper or caravan, or request our services. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and meet our obligations under applicable Australian privacy laws.

Who to contact

Goldfields Campers & Caravans · ABN 87 653 739 087. Visit or write to 29 Maryborough–Dunolly Rd, Maryborough VIC 3465. Phone (03) 5461 4222 or email goldfieldscampers@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy enquiry”.

What information we collect

Depending on the form you use, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, enquiry topic, model of interest and message. Sales and model enquiries require a name, email address and phone number, with optional questions about your state or territory, purchase timeframe, payment preference and preferred contact method. If you use the extras calculator and choose to enquire about your build, your selected extras and estimate are included in the enquiry. Please only send information relevant to your enquiry. Do not include bank or payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information in a website form.

For purchases and after-sales support, relevant information may also include your address, order and payment records, camper or caravan details, registration or VIN, photographs, and information about a fault, repair or warranty request. We only ask for information relevant to the transaction or support you request.

How we collect information

We collect information you provide through forms, email, telephone, showroom visits and dealings with our team. Where needed for a purchase or support request, we also receive relevant information from the providers involved. You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practical, such as by phone or in person. If information needed to respond, complete a transaction or provide a service is not supplied, we may be unable to assist.

How we use your information

We use relevant personal information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange showroom viewings and respond to parts, servicing and warranty requests. Where you proceed with a purchase or service, we also use relevant information to manage orders, payments, delivery, registration, repairs and after-sales support, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. Website enquiries are handled by authorised Goldfields team members. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

When we share information

We share relevant information with authorised staff and, where reasonably necessary, our website and email providers, manufacturers, repairers, transport providers, registration authorities and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law. We only pass your details to a finance or insurance provider, including Credit One or CIL Insurance, when you request the referral and give permission. Those providers then handle your information under their own privacy policies. Choosing a finance preference in an enquiry or selecting model extras does not automatically send your details to Credit One or CIL.

Marketing choices

Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing subscription. Where you agree to receive promotional communications, we use your contact details for that purpose. You can unsubscribe using the option in our marketing messages or by contacting us. We may still contact you about an existing enquiry, order, service booking or warranty matter.

Hosting, enquiry forms and email

We use Framer to host this website, deliver website content and process its enquiry forms. Submissions are processed through Framer and emailed to Goldfields. Sales and model enquiries go to sales@goldfieldscampers.com, using Google Workspace. General, parts and service enquiries go to goldfieldscampers@gmail.com, using Gmail. Google provides both email services. Relevant enquiry records may be kept in our email mailboxes and business records so authorised team members can respond and provide ongoing support. Our website and email providers may process technical and security information, such as IP addresses, browser information and delivery logs, to operate their services and protect against spam and misuse.

Website analytics

We use Framer’s built-in analytics to understand website traffic and improve the site. Reports include page views, traffic sources, approximate country, device type and browser information. Framer states that this analytics service does not use cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels on this website. This does not mean that external services, such as YouTube, cannot receive information or use their own cookies when their content is loaded or used.

The model extras calculator works in your browser. Your selections are held temporarily in memory, not saved in cookies or browser storage, and do not persist after a reload. Choosing “Enquire About My Build” adds the model, selected extras and estimate to the enquiry form. You still need to submit that form to send the enquiry to Goldfields. The calculator itself does not send selections to an external service.

YouTube videos and external content

Model pages include YouTube videos and thumbnail images. Loading a thumbnail or video player can send technical information, including your IP address, browser details and the page being viewed, to Google or YouTube. Playing or interacting with a video may involve cookies, similar technologies and information associated with your Google account, depending on your settings. Videos are not set to autoplay. Not pressing play does not necessarily prevent thumbnail requests or all contact with Google. Google’s privacy policy applies to those services.

Managing your privacy choices

You can use your browser’s privacy settings to block or delete cookies and site data, restrict third-party cookies or content, and use available tracking protection. You can also manage Google and YouTube privacy settings through your Google account. Some controls may prevent videos or other features from working. You can still contact us by telephone, email or at our showroom without submitting a website form or playing a video.

Overseas processing

Our website and email providers operate internationally, so personal information may be stored, processed or accessed outside Australia. Framer B.V. is based in the Netherlands and uses service providers including Amazon Web Services; Framer identifies the United States as a location for its servers. Google Workspace, Gmail and YouTube also use international systems. Likely overseas locations include the United States and the Netherlands, with other locations depending on the provider’s infrastructure and support arrangements. Locations may change. You can contact us for further information about the providers involved; their published data-processing and privacy information is linked below.

External links and provider information

Links to Google Maps, Credit One, CIL Insurance, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube take you to services operated by those organisations. Information you provide there is handled under their privacy policies, which you should review before applying, enquiring or sharing personal information. Our privacy notice does not control those external services.

Storage, access and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. Access is limited to authorised team members and service providers who need it for their work. Records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to enquiries, manage purchases and services, meet legal and record-keeping obligations, and resolve disputes. We securely destroy or de-identify information when it is no longer required, subject to those obligations. No online system or email service can guarantee absolute security. You can contact us to ask about information we hold or request deletion; legal and business record-keeping requirements may mean some records must be retained.

Access, corrections and privacy complaints

Contact Goldfields using the details above to request access to personal information, ask for a correction, change your marketing preferences or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before providing access or changing records. We will consider your request or investigate your complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about further complaint options.

Updates to this notice

We will update this notice when our information-handling practices or website services change. The current version and its update date will be available on this page.
