Storage & Routine Care
All owners, with equipment-specific instructions.
Before storage, clean and dry the camper, remove food and waste, and care for the fridge, water system, canvas and awnings according to their manuals.
For lithium batteries, follow the exact manufacturer’s storage charge level, temperature limits and inspection schedule. Do not assume that leaving the battery fully charged on mains indefinitely suits every model.
Use the shutdown procedure explained at handover. Turning off a screen does not necessarily isolate every load or charging source. Ask Goldfields if you are unsure which systems remain active.
Check periodically for water entry, pests, unusual battery discharge and deterioration. Before travelling again, inspect the unit and complete the appropriate pre-trip checks.
Follow your documented service schedule. Contact Goldfields for the checklist and service requirements relevant to your build and usage.
